After they classified the sea animal and learned that whales and dolphins are not fish but mammals, the children made an octopus puppet practicing their fine motor skills while they were working.

One of the favorite activities in this unit was the “Tuna Fish Sandwich”, with this snack; we tasted something that comes from the sea. We made tuna salad by adding mayonnaise to a drained can of tuna. Then, they spread the tuna on the bread, cut the bread to make the shape of a fish and decorated it with colored mayonnaise.

We also painted a beautiful "Ocean Scene" and listened to the story "Splash in the Ocean"
