In June, we learned about Nutrition. Children acquired
information and new vocabulary about different kinds
of food, like meat, sweets, vegetables, and grains.
Then they made a food pyramid and shared
responsibilities to complete the task of making 3 kind
of juices, a delicious pizza and a healthy salad.
Finally, we talked about the importance of the
program “5 a Day” and the benefits of eating
5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day
