Teachers celebrating their 30th anniversary

KINDERGARTEN LEVEL

Miss Karin Roxani Bustamante Guembes

English Teacher – Tutor

Miss Karito Bustamante, 30 years of vocation and service in Carmelitas

To speak of Miss Karito is to mention a teacher who is committed to her children, the youngest of our school. To see her teach classes to the children of Kindergarten is to be a participant in her service, dedication and passion in her daily task.

The joy she spreads and her creativity in creating strategies to teach her children in a playful way are some of the gifts she shares within the Carmelite family.

We are very happy to have you in the Kindergarten team Miss Karito and to share with you so many beautiful experiences that enrich the work of a human team that appreciates you very much.

Congratulations on these 30 years of service working and giving the best of you at Carmelitas!

SECONDARY LEVEL

Miss Blanca Patricia Baluarte Fernández

Mathematics Coordinator

Those of us who have had the opportunity to share Miss Patricia Baluarte’s educational career for some time appreciate her value as a human being and we admire her great enthusiasm, joy and above all, her dedication to her teaching work. Synthesizing her 30-year academic career in Carmelitas is undoubtedly a difficult task. I remember when she and Miss Silvia Valencia arrived at Secondary School a little afraid to come to a different environment but very soon Paty, as we affectionately call her, with her wide smile, tenderness and her charisma knew how to win a place in the hearts of all of us .

Miss Paty, with her patience, sweetness, tolerance, wisdom gives herself to her children every day, does not measure her time, always willing to give herself in all activities: Masses, Olympics, First Communion, etc. demonstrating by example the Carmelite charism: PRAYER, FRATERNITY AND SERVICE.

Her enthusiasm, dedication and vocation will always preside over his excellent reputation. The prestige of Colegio Carmelitas is the result of the work of magnificent people who have tirelessly given it so much energy, talent and PATY IS ONE OF THEM, that is why we say THANK YOU FOR HER 30 YEARS.

Miss María del Rosario Aguilar Montoya / Science teacher

Nelly María Alicia Alvarez Carmona

Religion and Secondary Pastoral Teacher

One of the most sublime manifestations of the human being in any circumstance of life, is to be able to give thanks. And what a better opportunity than to thank for the presence and company of those people who mark our lives, who awaken something special in us, who transform our way of seeing the world and leave us lessons that we carry indelibly engraved in our hearts. Miss Nelly is one of those people, so we want to express our love, gratitude and appreciation for these 30 years dedicated to teaching at our institution.

Those of us who have had the opportunity to share with Miss Nelly appreciate in her, her value as a human being, her deep religious spirit and her tireless effort to encourage her students in faith, encouraging them to encounter God and a commitment to solidarity with their brothers.

Miss Nelly is one of those teachers who believe that education will always be part of life, because they firmly believe that every day counts, that every class counts and especially, that every student counts. For this reason, it was not uncommon to see her always walking surrounded by young people, or to find her in her living room during recesses sharing with them, worried about listening to them and motivating them to give their best in everything they undertake.

From Nelly we have learned as a team to always move forward, to face challenges with enthusiasm and courage, to trust our students and to look to the future with hope, confident in what we have built together.

Thank you dear Nelly, for dedicating these 30 years of teaching life to fulfill the work of infinite love that the Lord entrusted to you. Many blessings.

Miss Rocío Marina Villanueva Aldea / Institutional Coordinator of Pastoral and Religion

COMMITMENT, DEDICATION, LOYALTY, PROACTIVITY

These are some of the values and qualities that distinguish Nery.

Her enthusiasm, care and dedication to all work and / or activity entrusted to her has always allowed her to carry out any project; like for example our famous Olympics. To speak of the yellow color of our Olympics is to speak of the Symbol of the Stars and also of Nery. Pundonor, courage, discipline, all this projects and teaches his students.

In her daily work, the human and Christian factor is always present. In personal cases; our students always find sincere advice, generosity to provide whatever is necessary to make them feel better, showing true solidarity and brotherhood with the other.

Teacher celebrating her 25th anniversary

ELEMENTARY LEVEL

Miss Nina Mariella Monteverde Granthon

Elementary Religion Teacher

We give a heartfelt tribute to our teacher Nina Mariella Monteverde Granthon, who for 25 years, since 1996, has been a teacher in the area of Religion at the Primary level in our beloved school.

Miss Mariella has known, with her example of life and with the dedicated preparation she carries out for each of her tasks, to touch the sensitivity of many children who have passed through the classrooms where she has shared her being a Teacher; and in an area that is not in itself, at least for us, one more course, but the backbone of our institution, such as the area of Religion.

Miss Mariella, shares, teaches, dedicates her life to bring the word of God and Catholic doctrine to children, who, through words, anecdotes, creative proposals that she brings to the classroom, learn to discover great love of God towards us and the blessing of having our Mother in heaven, the Virgin of Carmen, whom Carmelites, from a young age, learn to love and venerate with total admiration and deep conviction, thanks to the orientation and guidance that she promotes in the day to day.

These words are of gratitude and appreciation, for a person who has always been unconditional to the school, who gives her life to the classrooms every day and cares about each student.

Having Miss Mariella in our institution is a gift. Those of us who know her closely, feel fortunate and grateful to God for her life and her work.

Thank you Mariella for these 25 years of service at Nuestra Señora del Carmen School.

Miss Rosa Ana Dongo Oneto / Elementary Deputy Director

Victoriano Pinto Ccoralla

Institutional Image Designer

The word says: “By their fruits you will know them … every good tree bears good fruit.” It is enough to see Víctor’s family, his work and his wonderful relationship with his colleagues to realize his human and professional quality.

Victor’s Carmel life begins in his homeland, Cusco, where he meets his wife Frida and our remembered Father Albano Quinn, O. Carm. Some time later, he would integrate our beloved Carmelitas School.

An artist by training and teacher by vocation, he has transmitted his experience and affection to his students for many years. One of her most emblematic works accompanies us in the dining room, a beautiful painting that represents the Last Supper with Carmelite students as models.

Currently, Víctor gives us his art and charisma from the Institutional Image office where he is a designer and a friend of whom there is much to say.

Thank you Victor for a lifetime dedicated to Carmel!

Iván Fabrizzio Estremadoyro Manyari / Institutional Image Coordinator
