FIE CÓRDOBA – ARGENTINA 2020 virtual

OUTSTANDING PARTICIPATION OF THE COMPANY COOMBUN CIA CARM. J.A.

Thanks to a kind invitation from FIE Córdoba, the Peruvian delegation was made up of students from Carmelitas and El Triunfo School. It was an excellent teamwork from both institutions.

The students participated in various workshops made up of groups from different participating countries and extraordinary conferences about high-impact entrepreneurship.

It should be noted that the company COOBUM Cia JA, from our institution, was among the top 10 companies in the “The Company” program. COOBUM is an application that would allow the exact consumption of ingredients for the preparation of dishes, contributing to the reduction of waste in addition of benefiting children with high rates of malnutrition. These were the indicators of their outstanding participation obtaining first place. Congratulations to the students of the other educational institutions of the Peruvian team and to those who represented the Carmelitas and Peru.

COY 2020 – virtual

The Peruvian representation was made up of the companies, BAROO from the Nuestra Señora del Carmen School, NINA from the Villa María School, ENÉRGEIA from the San Ignacio de Recalde School and MANKÚ from the Coar San Martin Educational Center. All the companies participated in the “La Compañía” program, organized by Junior Achievement Peru, to which they applied and classified to COY, an international event organized by “Junior Achievement Americas,” managing to rank as the best companies in the region. They all made excellent presentations of their business proposals, achieving the Peruvian success. It should be noted that it is the first time that Peru has achieved this victory.

The COY was carried out in a virtual way using a Virtual Venue platform, in which we had the experience of entering with an avatar that allowed us to walk through the exterior buildings of the location, entering a convention center where we were able to move around the facilities, talk to each other, walk through the product fair, have a work office, exhibit in the live auditorium and attend concerts on the beach. Everyone who attended had an excellent virtual experience. We congratulate all the members of the participating Peruvian companies and BAROO, a Carmelitas company, for their excellent performance in all the national and international events in which they participated this year with great success, CIE-NIEC, FIE GUATE, FERIA NAVIDEÑA ROTARY CLUB and the Junior Achievement Peru program, which is part of our institution’s Entrepreneurship and Business Management course.
