This year is special for our Carmelite family because, after a canonization process, Father Tito Brandsma, a church martyr who was born in Holland and died defending our faith at the hands of the Nazis, will be declared a saint.
To get to know him a little better, we carried out different activities where our students learned a little more about the human quality and the legacy that Friar Tito Brandsma left us.
In this atmosphere of fraternity, Fr. Floristan Guerrero, Deputy Director of Formation, held a series of virtual talks for Secondary students and visits to the Kindergarten classrooms; meanwhile, in Primary, the misses told the children who this Carmelite is who will become a Saint on May 15th.
As Carmelites, we unite in prayer and ask God that Saint Titus Brandsma be our example of life that brings us closer to Him.
