Our delegation from the United Nations Model competed in the LNAG MUN, United Nations Model of the Almirante Guisse Naval School held on October 1st and 2nd.
The Carmelitas delegation was made up of Juan Diego Coronel and Luciana Palomino in the DISEC Committee with the topic Intervention in Ethnic Conflicts, Adriana Arana in the Crisis Committee with the topic The Stone Wall Riots, Mariana Aldave in the Legal Committee with the topic Laws and Ethics in Genetic Engineering, María Gracia Ponce in the OAS Committee with the topic Transnational Networks in Arms Trafficking, Daniela Ríos in the UN WOMEN Committee with the topic Patriarchy VS Feminism and Mariano Alvites in the US Cabinet committee with the topic The Vietnam War.
The outstanding participation of our students led us to win 6 awards for best delegate and one for outstanding delegate, resulting in the Award for Best Delegation at LNAG MUN 2021.
